The grand opening of the Rotary Storywalk Pathway features 40 board panels on the sides of our City of Niagara Falls' Millennium Trail which deconstruct a children's book with enlarged storybook pages. Children & families in our community are invited to follow the narrative along their walk by visiting each of the different storyboards in sequence along the trail. Thank you to the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls Rotary Club Sunrise for sponsoring these educational storyboards for our community. Our special celebration was in Carolyn Park with the planting of 20 new native trees throughout the area. Today's opening of the Rotary Storywalk Pathway marks the completion of the City’s Millennium Recreational Trail system which spans over 7.5 kilometres along the Ontario Power Generation Canal, from McLeod Road to Whirlpool Road.
