@TautnP @BenisKen So in this hypothetical, a player asks to do something clearly impossible, I as the dm say no and they insist? I then go over how it failed, obviously, and the consequences. Why would I need to ask for a dice roll?

@TautnP @BenisKen I tell my players no all the time, the hell are you talking about? Lmao, if I'm letting you roll on something then it is possible even if by the barest of margins. If a player asks me to jump across a 80 ft gap with no magic backing them, I'll just reply "no" why waste time?
