My TA Fidil & I recommend The West Façade by Lauren Johnson. This historical fantasy set in medieval Paris swept me away. The statues on the west façade of Notre Dame come alive, but one, the statue of Saint Genevieve steps down & becomes human. #purrfectreads

I've finished my first graduate workshop syllabus!! One syllabus down, and one more to go for next semester. The luxury of only teaching 2 classes is unbelievable. I've made 5 syllabi each semester for most of the last 9 years. I'll get to focus so much more on my students now.

I had an amazing first research trip for my fantasy retelling of Little Women. Walden Pond, Harvard's Hougton library, Alcott's house, and more! Walden Pond was so peaceful I didn't want to leave.

The world really has a case of the bat-shits. I'd like to recommend serious modifications to this timeline.
