@bobpockrass When some teams started throwing it back to their current drivers’ earlier years in racing, that’s when it went downhill.

They are not encouraging throwback schemes for Darlington this year. There will still be former drivers coming to the race, and the hope is to celebrate them. ... I'd say there was a feeling the throwbacks had run their course and just tough to keep doing ones that worked.
