@ROTS1882 One of the things i liked about Ange was je told journalists to get fucked. Not commenting on Tudors managerial skills but if he gets wet wipes like Jonathan Liew to piss their pants like Ange did then thats ok by me!

One thing Igor Tudor has done since his arrival is take absolutely no shit. He’s snapped back at journalists, ended interviews and press conferences over stupid questions, and shifted focus away from moaning about the club and players to coming together and telling anyone who opposes us to do one.

@thealepalombo Can you comment on how INPS tries to unjustly enrich itself by trying to charge higher SS contributions on employer and employee. Impatriati is appealing but there is no joined up thinking between tax, immigration and social security.

Move to Italy. Get a 50–60% tax exemption on your income for five years. You don't need to retire to benefit: this is for professionals, founders, and remote workers. For many, it's even more advantageous than Portugal's IFICI regime. You could pay as little as 9% effective tax. The exemption applies to both employees and freelancers, up to €600K per year. You do need a university degree or equivalent qualification to access it. To qualify, you must not have been tax resident in Italy for the past three years and must stay at least four (or repay the benefit). If you have a child, the exemption rises to 60%. Example: earn $85K with one child, you'd pay about $5–6K in tax and keep $79–80K. Keep in mind: employees also pay social security contributions, typically 20%+ on gross income. This isn't a pure tax play. It's decent, not extraordinary, but still competitive for the lifestyle you get. Or you can choose the €300K flat tax regime for up to 15 years. Four of my friends moved to Italy in the last six months. Some of our investors are choosing the flat tax. You can also retire in small villages in the South and pay 7% flat on all foreign income for 10 years. Capital gains, dividends, pensions, rental income. All of it. These regimes exist today and won't necessarily exist tomorrow. Better a year early than a single day late.

@simonyemane If every player focuses on their personal battles and plays with strength and conviction then results (and points) will come. Arse are a better team but if the Spurs players get in their faces they are beatable. If the players do this the crowd will carry them COYS!

Talk around whether Tudor will succeed is centered around tactics and game model. But we’re in a relegation battle. In moments like this, leadership & togetherness matters just as much. His ability to galvanize the players will decide everything. Fans can help him get there.

#thfc People acting like Tudor needs to pull of miracles, 12 games left, if we get 10-11 points we will stay up. 3 wins, couple draws. Brighton (H) Wolves (A) Leeds (H) Everton (H) forest (H) palace (H) nevermind arsenals and fulhams where we could snatch points

#Tottenham made checks on Edin Terzic and Marco Rose as possible interim manager options before settling on Igor Tudor. It’s understood that Terzic is keen on joining his next club in a permanent role. @JacobSteinberg

@swspurs @IvanGowan Think you are right but looking back (rose tinted glasses) when we had our strongest 11 available (hardly ever) we competed and won most games. Without serious reinforcements we weren’t winning the PL but I miss the attacking identity and him chatting back to the media clowns.

I think Ange telling some big truth bombs,.....but i doubt he was the man long term even with the players he wanted, i don't think he would have challenged. Very clear however the club hasn't got a clue how to compete on the pitch.

@Lilywhite_Rose Guy is decent and brave. Put himself out there for the ultimate ridicule and media pile on. Had his deficiencies but man he stood up for the club. Players responded (obviously not all and consistently but injuries were crushing) and we won! Miss his brave words.

#thfc some ugly reports coming out of the club now that “he” is gone. Some serious serious fall outs with the bigger name players, “bust ups” hyperbolic language i feel, but massive arguments nevertheless in training and pre match, post match.

@kca0027 Ange challenged the media. They don’t like that. He was a disrupter and they like the status quo. TF was perfect for media and the club board. Thankfully it’s over.

Media now jumping to Frank’s defence - “he got sacked bc of injuries” Injuries are horrendous. But, that’s been since January & he supported the owners decision not to strengthen sufficiently. Never had the injuries Ange did & I don’t remember the same sympathetic view on him.

@GaryRWard Much prefer him to TF but surely this means long term and not sure about that as he a combustible individual how is he gonna gel with the softies at Spurs! Interested to see if players start to recover quicker from injury now TF has gone.

@otheranthony 💯 we get treated this way because we allow it to happen. Arse, Pool, Utd etc make noise not to overturn but to prevent and pressure officials. It works. We have weak leadership. Ange was the only guy that pushed back against media.

@swspurs @rawpest @BBCSport @iamsanjaypatel Have said it before. Ange had his deficiencies but I loved the way he stood up for the club and gave back to the media. Often a lone voice who put himself out there for criticism. Spurs have a weak mentality from top down and get shit decisions every week as a result.

I want honest answers here. Do Spurs fans think we have a better chance of avoiding relegation with Thomas Frank in charge or by sacking him and appointing an interim replacement like Heitinga or Ryan Mason?

@thealepalombo The impatriati is indeed beneficial but you have to commit to 4yrs otherwise there is clawback. Are you familiar with the social security (INPS) costs as they are quite high depending on the cap applicability.

For non-EU citizens: Italy launched a Digital Nomad Visa in 2024. Requirements: €28K annual income, degree or 5+ yrs experience, health insurance. 1 year, renewable for 2 more. Path to permanent residency after 5 years. 50% tax exemption for 5 years. With conditions. Now the 10 coastal towns. North to south.

I've analyzed every affordable, strategically located coastal town in Italy for a €200-300K budget. Taxes, airports, cost of living, remote work infrastructure. I've called a couple of friends to confirm the data. 10 towns. The definitive guide for FIRE and Digital Nomads in Italy. Thread 🧵

With the ‘DPM’ deciding to tell the Telegraph that he ‘warned Starmer about Mandelson’ before his appointment, a Labour source says: “If Lammy’s political instincts are telling him it’s time to make his move, it can only mean that Keir is entirely safe.”
