What dads are for and why parents remain such a key part of an athletes' support network. Parents still have a key role to play even when their children are adults and reach 18, something we are currently exploring with organisations. Hi guys, I’ve had quite a few conversations with students over the last half term. Firstly, I feel very lucky the students have opened up to me personally. I’m thinking of creating a wellness clinic to support these students. Do you or your schools run anything like this?

Today we started our Employability Skills Project in PE. Students each took on a different role and rotated through a number of different stations with individual focuses. This project will be continuing all week across KS3.

So now we see the value of education. £1000, before tax, and a below inflation increase for next year of 4.5%. Not fully funded. Less than fire service, doctors, railway workers and the offer to teachers in Wales and Scotland. That’s how little they value education.

Any feedback from GCSE PE Paper 1 students yet today?

@MrASlackPE @MrCampbellPE1 @OCR_PhysEd @ocrexams Any 2 sports would be much more beneficial! Then the level 5 criteria brought down to a more achievable standard for all students.

@MrCampbellPE1 @OCR_PhysEd @ocrexams Completely agree. An outdated assessment. It should be scrapped or a more creative modern analysis task made to replace it with. I also think they should stick with 2 sports. Is it a realistic expectation for students to compete in 3 activities? Imagine being that kids parents!💸

I think it is definitely time for a serious review/discussion about the expectations of the @OCR_PhysEd GCSE AEP. A ridiculous amount of work is expected from students to access the higher grades and it’s worth 20 marks. Can we open the lines of communication on this @ocrexams ?
