I just noticed that this pro-Beijing person Angelica Oung (翁華志), an American originally from Taiwan, has been pushing CCP narratives and propaganda from inside Taiwan lately. She has recently posted on her YouTube channel a number of videos of her chatting with US-based pro-CCP Internet personality Carl Zha (查科嘉) and Shanghai-based pro-CCP Frenchman Arnaud Bertrand, among others. I came across some of her news articles on The Telegraph reporting on Beijing’s crackdown in Hong Kong a few years ago so I’m surprised that she’s turned pro-Beijing now. I suspect that she had been approached and recruited by CCP proxies or operatives in Taiwan over the past two or three years, in view of reports of Beijing stepping up its infiltration and influence operations targeting Taiwan from within and without. This has happened many times in Hong Kong before. Soleimani Afshar entered the United States in June 2015 on a tourist visa. In 2019, a judge granted her asylum. In 2021, she became a green card holder under the Biden Administration. In July 2025, she filed a naturalization application where she disclosed, she traveled to Iran at least four times since being issued a green card. Her trips to Iran illustrate her asylum claims were fraudulent. Her daughter, Sarinasadat Hosseiny, entered the United States in July 2015 on a student visa. In 2019, a judge granted her asylum. In 2023, she became a green card holder under the Biden administration. It is a privilege to be granted green card to live in the United States of America. If we have reason to believe a green card holder poses a threat to the U.S., the green card will be revoked.
I’m not agreeing with you. The IRGC is a branch of a sovereign state’s military. The designation is a legal act used as a political tool, the first time in history it was applied to any country’s military. The ICC has issued arrest warrants for Israeli leaders for genocide. No such warrants exist for the IRGC. If the standard is killing civilians, the IDF meets every threshold the IRGC is accused of. The question isn’t who’s been designated. It’s who hasn’t.
