Thoughts on where the United Football League should go next?
English

The point was if he is good enough for the Rams at #13 (who have an MVP QB, and are drafting him as their next franchise guy), then he’s good enough for the Cardinals at 3. Especially because the fit is perfect. Lafluer runs McVays system. Is 3 too high? YES, but do you pass on a franchise QB (that fits your system perfectly in a scenario where you could sit him part or all of the year as well) just because you wish you could get him at 8, or 10 or 12…? No you can’t. The opportunity cost of taking Love was losing a franchise QB. Love is a great player. But you might’ve just missed on your franchise guy…Rams are were willing to bet the 13th overall pick he’s their next franchise guy even when they don’t need him. That means to the Cardinals he would be worth the risk at 3. Yeah you would’ve loved to get a trade partner to move down and take him but you just couldn’t NOT take him. So is he 3rd overall pick worthy, maybe not, but if it’s 3rd or nothing…had to pull the trigger.

@JohnPat199 @GetUpESPN Not accurate but almost a great burn 🔥🔥
English

@JRodgers11 @GetUpESPN Go back to the bachelorette since you lasted longer there than any NFL stint you had
English

"Under no circumstance can you take Jeremiyah Love number three. ... He's not a generational player."
@JRodgers11 doesn't believe Jeremiyah Love should go high in the draft 👀
English

@Scooter1572 @GetUpESPN @danorlovsky7 @DanGrazianoESPN Dan played 12 years in the league, and is one of the best there is at evaluating football. Me on the other hand….you’re right
English

@GetUpESPN @danorlovsky7 Respectfully, @JRodgers11 and @danorlovsky7 were terrible QB's and have never sniffed the talent of Fernando Mendoza. As for Simpson, these guys got their ass's handed to them by @DanGrazianoESPN. Keep that dumbazz smirk on, Jordan and Dan.😂
English

"If [Ty Simpson's] not a first-round pick tonight, then we are evaluating, in the NFL, the quarterback position wrong."
@danorlovsky7 is adamant that Ty Simpson should be drafted in the first round 🍿
English

So 50+ million guaranteed is worth it for a RB on a team with a ton of holes and no QB? I said 5 makes more sense because at least they are young and established at QB and can all grow together. But man paying the highest guaranteed money for a RB in history on a team with a ton of ?s just don’t think is smart. He’s a great talent but don’t think “generational RBs exist anymore”. 3rd overall and that $$ is steep
English

Stopped watching ESPN a long time ago… for opinions like this.

English

@kamronb11 @ColeFrancoeur2 @GetUpESPN So…Brissett is your franchise guy? That’s certainly an opinion
English

@JRodgers11 @ColeFrancoeur2 @GetUpESPN Top 5 passing yard QB? The one that wants starting QB money? You're making yourself look worse and worse.
English

Without a QB I feel it’s a waste of his talent. And it’s not market value. It’s 52 million fully guaranteed. That’s the most in NFL history for a RB at a time that he position is less valued/important than ever. Not saying it’s not worth it for the right guy. But without a QB in the next two years, don’t feel like you are maximizing that investment. If they take Love and still get Ty later….i like growing them together.
English

@JRodgers11 @GetUpESPN A contender should be mindful of the money they are spending. A bad team should be looking to make drastic changes to their roster. Paying market value ($9M, $11M, $13M, $16M) for a special rookie RB, who would be in his prime, doesn’t seem foolish to me.
English

@GetUpESPN @JRodgers11 I cannot believe an SEC homer and ESPN pundit has nothing good to say about a Notre Dame prospect.
English

@ColeFrancoeur2 @GetUpESPN Cardinals have no QB…so that wouldn’t change week 1 in the NFL
English

@JRodgers11 @GetUpESPN Miami week 1 with a freshman qb and questionable play calling. Ofc Miami stacked the box. Then he showed his versatility against Texas A&M.
English

The “generational player” is relevant only because you would be paying him 50+ million in guarantees. More than Saquon, McCaffery, Henry….you take a RB at 3 and promise more money than any RB ever…he better be an all-timer. You take an Edge player there he’s making middle of the road salary for an Edge player in comparison. With no QB and a lot of holes Love is too much of a reach at the price
English

@GetUpESPN @JRodgers11 …. Well then name the generational player they should take instead…
English

We could make 10 memes from Dan’s facial expressions today. Love it
If you are going to pay a RB hospital guaranteed money he better be a can’t miss player. Love disappeared against Ohio State & Miami and padded stats against bad defenses. He’s an unreal TALENT but would be wasted on an offense with No QB and identity right now.

@RogersAl54 @GetUpESPN @Espngreeny They were a top 5 offense in ‘22 and ‘23, and in ‘24 they were right at league avg because run game was poor and Dak got hurt in November. Main issue has always been defense
English

@GetUpESPN @Espngreeny @JRodgers11 Somebody tell @JRodgers11 goofy ass that the Cowboys offense was pathetic before George Pickens got there, why would they go backwards?? Cornball
English

"[George Pickens] is more of a luxury than a necessity. ... The defense is what's going to be a make or break for them."
—@JRodgers11 on what the Cowboys should prioritize for success 🏈
English

Never said get rid of him! Absolutely need GP, but not for top of the WR market money. What’s CD gonna do if George is making 7 mil more than him. And that still doesn’t fix your defensive problems…which was the problem last year when you had CD & GP together. I’m just saying Jerry has to be real careful how he navigates this negotiation knowing how things went with Mica based on what was said to the media etc. George could be on the team next year on a franchise tag and disgruntled and pissed, that could be a disaster. Have to make him feel valued but also cowboys hold the cards with the tag, so technically don’t have to do anything. Tricky situation
English

@GetUpESPN @JRodgers11 Ah yes you shouldn’t have more good players on your team! The eagles legit won a Super Bowl because they had 3000 weapons on offense and a great defense
