@JoshuaHowsam Not good enough IMO. Being okay without Bo for most of the playoffs and end of season is a lot different from an entire season without that bat (or an equivalent bat).

Interesting note from Shi's latest that Ketel Marte's no trade clause is going to kick in 10 days from now so any potential trade (if they move him at all) would have to materialize quickly before Arizona relinquishes all their leverage. Safe to say I'd be all in on him.

This teacher says to his students that he will never remember what grade you got when you leave his class. But, he said he will remember the kindness that certain students showed to other students. He gives two examples of children that were alone or loners and two students taking the time to go out of their way to sit & talk with them to help make them feel like they weren't alone. I wish all teachers cared this much. Our system gets so caught up in the smartest students, the best athletes, the most popular kids and they seem to garner the most attention and favoritism. It's the quiet students, the loners, the awkward ones, the ones who don’t have friends that need attention and help in my opinion. Well done sir. Bravo. 👏 I wish more teachers had your mindset. There is hope yet for our educational system.

Also, the Jays minor league pitching development may not be elite, but in the majors?? Pitchers who recently had major success in Toronto after struggles elsewhere: Robbie Ray Yusei Kikuchi Ross Stripling And last year’s big jump forward: Bowden Francis. Fucking Rosenthal.

Rosenthal is just incapable of reporting fairly about the Jays. They turned Kikuchi into a legit starter instead of the project he always was in Seattle. He was arguably their best non-Gausman pitcher in 2023.

Man, everything Rosenthal says here is stupid. The Teoscar trade was a good one and signing Soto almost certainly does not mean Vlad is gone. If anything, it should increase the likelihood that he extends.
