Barry Bonds just told an interesting story on the broadcast. He said George Steinbrenner told him the Yankees would give him the money he wanted, but only if he signed the contract by 2 p.m. Bonds decided to go back to San Francisco. This would've been the 1992-93 offseason.

@Jsoto1991 @PitcherList I want you to understand that these are all made up. Regardless of how you spell it, it's meant to facilitate a pronunciation. RISE is an oversimplification and it is close. Just tried to add more nuance to it but it seems to have really bothered you 🤣 my god! It's fine!

I spent the morning making this. I've mispronounced too many baseball player names and went through MLB's official pronunciations to get it right. Here's my MLB Player Pronunciation Cheat Sheet.
