The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
In July, the Church will open 55 new missions to accommodate a growing number of missionaries already called. The addition will bring the total number of missions to 506 and allow missionaries to better support the growing number of congregations worldwide. “What we are witnessing today is more than growth in numbers,” Elder Dale G. Renlund (@DaleGRenlund) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said in a May 2026 social post. “Across the world, missionaries are demonstrating a deep devotion to the Savior and a sincere consecration to His work. An increasing number express that their fundamental reason for serving is their love for Jesus Christ and their desire to join Him in His work — an inspiring reflection of the faith and commitment that characterize today’s missionary force. “As the work goes forward, this is indeed a joyous and marvelous work and a wonder.” Learn more on Church Newsroom. newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/article/church…

In urban combat, seconds and fire discipline often separate survivors from casualties. In the footage, Chechen shooters emerge from cover and open fire, triggering an immediate response from an opposing team that appears markedly more experienced. The first fighter to react leaves cover with calculated aggression, engaging with his rifle before quickly following up with an anti-armor launcher, seeking to suppress the enemy position through shock and overpressure. By contrast, the machine gunner exposes himself longer than necessary, remaining visible for too long and illustrating a classic urban warfare mistake: prolonged exposure in an environment saturated with firing angles. The episode demonstrates that in close-quarters warfare, initiative and tactical discipline matter as much as firepower.

What your children really want for dinner is you! In an age of constant online connection, we may need to disconnect from technologies and other distractions to truly reconnect with our families. Families grow stronger when they set aside these distractions and spend meaningful time together—learning eternal values like the importance of marriage and children, the purpose of life, and the true source of joy. Parents also have a duty to teach their children practical knowledge apart from gospel principles. Families unite when they do meaningful things together. Happy family experiences strengthen family ties. Camping, sports activities, and other recreation are especially valuable for bonding families. Some may say, “But we have no time for any of that.” To find time to do what is truly worthwhile, many parents will find that they can turn their families on if they all turn their technologies off. What those we love need most is simply time with us. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, is our ultimate role model. He will help us as we strive to build these family bonds.

🚨WHAT THE HELL?!!!! Divers doing a ROUTINE maintenance check at the Converse Reservoir dam in Mobile, AL... ...just found an underwater IED!!!! Apparently a grenade-type bomb was sitting submerged at the bottom of a dam that holds an entire city's DRINKING WATER. It took FIVE agencies: the FBI, ALEA, the Sheriff, Mobile PD, and a maritime render-safe team, to pull it out and detonate it. Someone put a BOMB in our water supply... WHERE IS THE NATIONAL COVERAGE?!!!

Just found this official decree from the Washington Governor’s Office… They’ve officially banned aimless driving. No more cruising. No more joyrides. No more “I’m just clearing my head, officer.” You must have a lawful destination at all times or face a $1,000 fine. Welcome to the People’s Republic of Washington, where even your Sunday drive needs prior approval. Governor Ferguson has solved traffic congestion by making driving illegal unless you’re going somewhere productive. Next up: banning “aimless walking,” “purposeless staring out the window,” and breathing without a five-year plan. Washingtonians, start practicing your excuse scripts now: “Yes officer, I am driving to acquire oat milk for my emotional support latte.” This is peak 2026 energy. Government: “We care about your safety!” Also government: “But first, show me your destination on this here form, citizen.” The only thing aimless now is common sense. Hopefully you got a chuckle. Now days I wouldn’t put anything past them. #AimlessDrivingBanned #WashingtonWay #BigGovernmentEnergy #JustLetPeopleDrive

National treasure, Jordan Derrick (better known as Dugan Ashley), has been arrested by the feds. Charging language below ⬇️ His videos, that are cited in the language below, have been on the internet for years and are still up on his social media as of this post... "KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United States Attorney R. Matthew Price today announced the filing of a criminal complaint against Jordan Derrick, 40. The complaint charges Derrick with one count of engaging in the business of manufacturing explosive materials without a license, one count of unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device, and one count of distributing information relating to manufacturing explosives, in violation of U.S. law. The complaint alleges that beginning no later than Sept. 18, 2023, Derrick began using several social media sites to distribute videos of himself making various explosive materials, to include detonators, nickel aminoguanidine perchlorate (NAP), ethylene glycol dinitrate (EGDN), hexamethylene triperoxide diamine (HMTD), hexamine dinitrate (HDN), Research Department eXplosive (RDX), silver acetylide double salt (SADS), trinitroxylene (TNX or R-salt), trinitrotoluene (TNT), pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN), aminoguanidine bicarbonate, and ammonium nitrate/nitromethane (ANNM). In his videos, Derrick provided step-by-step instructions on how to make these explosives. According to the complaint, Derrick’s videos were downloaded from his publicly available video sharing accounts and used by Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the individual who conducted an attack in New Orleans on Jan. 1, 2025. Jabbar had created IEDs consistent with Derrick’s instructional videos. The devices placed by Jabbar did not detonate and were subsequently rendered safe by law enforcement. Also, according to the complaint, on May 4, 2026, an explosion occurred at a private residence in Odessa, Mo. Investigators who searched the private residence after the explosion, found two components suspected of being used in explosive devices. The occupant of the residence told investigators that he manufactured explosive devices after watching online tutorials on a social media account that is believed to be utilized by Derrick to distribute information relating to the manufacture of explosives. An investigation of the Odessa explosion is ongoing. If convicted of engaging in the business of manufacturing explosive materials without a license, Derrick would be subject to a sentence of up to 10 years in federal prison. If convicted of unlawfully possessing an unregistered destructive device, Derrick would be subject to a sentence of up to 10 years in federal prison. If convicted of distributing information relating to the manufacture of explosives, Derrick would be subject to a sentence of up to 20 years in federal prison. In the federal judicial system, there is not the possibility of parole. These maximum statutory sentences are prescribed by Congress, and they are provided here for informational purposes. Any sentence would be determined by the court based on the advisory sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Trey Alford and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Brandon Chlarson with valuable assistance provided by Trial Attorney Michael Dittoe of the National Security Division. It was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The allegations contained in the complaint are accusations, not evidence of guilt, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law." #DuganAshley #HoldAnAK

A Ukrainian FP-2 is seen to eject something from a canister under its wing. Although the contents of what was ejected remains uncertain, the basic function of these mysterious objects has received some clarification.
Roy🇨🇦@GrandpaRoy2

The Russians claim that mysterious canisters seen under the wings of Ukrainian ‘FP-2’ strike UAVs contain strands of graphite. These are intended to disrupt electrical power grids and high-voltage infrastructure such as transformers and substations. 1/
