@Dennis_Porter_ In what way? I ask because while I don’t know all the ins and outs of non-mining data centers, my understanding is that they are vastly different, operationally at least.

It’s been obvious and apparent to anyone paying attention that Bitcoin miners will partner with data center companies: Google, Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft. Expect big announcements.

Don't vote because you think a person is going to end the Republic.” “If people voted for the person they want to vote for, I'll win.” “I don't attack President Trump or President Biden. I talk about their issues, where they're wrong, but personally, I don't attack them.” “I've tried to find the values that unite us all as Americans, rather than focusing on the culture war issues that are used to keep us at each other's throats.” Even with Biden being switched out with Kamala, RFK has not changed the overall goal of his campaign, which is to end the polarization and unite America. The mainstream media is going to heighten the fear narratives over the next few months. Do not fall for this trick, they do it literally every election. A bipartisan issue that is recognized from the far left to the far right is the division in our country. Neither Trump or Kamala will do anything to unite the country, they thrive off the division. If your biggest issue heading into the 2024 election is Making America United Again, out of the three main candidates RFK seems to be the only candidate actually focused on this issue.

I had a bit of an "issue" about 5 weeks ago. Hit my head _really_ hard. Broke my orbital bone above my eye, nerve severed. And a few other small breaks around the eye and nose as well. The worst part was the concussion. Never had one before. While the bone break hurt, the endless headaches, pressure, and general feeling of "not being right" from the concussion was the worst part. Anyway, all is well now, just can't feel my half of my forehead until the nerve heals. But all of this to say... while I was out, the @FullresHQ team built some cool stuff that I just finished installing on one of our owned properties.

@JMellerud @HashlabsMining Isn't electricity expensive? Fuel is cheap which is generally why heating is usually applied via fuel combustion. I understand the benefit of Bitcoin mining on top but the power still has to be very cheap even with the incremental economics.

🗞️ NEWS: Morgan Stanley dropped some fresh research on #Bitcoin mining companies. Their models reveal that miners are the quickest way to get new data centers up, and are trading way below the real worth of their locked-in power!

@tatumturnup Nothing more to share other than there are still plenty of mid-large scale miners that mine to their own private pool and select transactions based on their own template policies. Whether that template policy differs from the norm of maximizing profit, tho, is another story.

It appears that some of you do not understand this. Having the most miners is not the problem. Block template generation is the problem. Monetary incentives make it worse. We’re kind of sitting on a ticking time bomb here.
