Together we can save #DeeporBeel, the last wetland regulating flood water in Guwahati, the reason why we are not seeing nearby areas of Azara, Dharapur and Jalukbari not flooding while the city is half submerged in water during these heavy rains due to drastic change in climate.

Deepor Beel is already hampered by the unscientific management of Solid Waste by #guwahatimunicipalcorporation, and that too choosing a flood prone area in Deepor Beel. I urge the #guwahatimunicipalcorporation to strictly implement the idea of segregation at source in Guwahati.
