@BeKindToFans This is something I don’t want to get lost in the blame game. This group of fans has been at a bunch of shows I’ve been at, getting blackout drunk and verging on causing an issue every time. If that’s what you want to do go to a dive bar not front row at a wrestling sho.

In the latter case, the vast majority of blame lies with the wrestlers involved with the beatdown and cover-up. But either way, I’m begging fans not to come to shows looking for trouble. Go ruin something we don’t all love.

At the TV level wrestling is a hobby first, but at the independent level it must always be a community first. The margins are slim and the operational realities overwhelming. These shows are all labors of love. NHB lawsuit and Berwyn closures illustrate how precious it is.

I think my favorite match I ever saw live at the Berwyn Eagles was Chris Hero vs. Zack Sabre Jr. in 2016. I was sat up on the stage in the front row. So many great memories in that building. It was a tournament so Hero had another incredible match against Mat Fitchett earlier
