Team Cherry aren't adding enemies on these bosses to make them harder
The bosses WERE MADE WITH THE ENEMIES IN MIND.
There's 1vs1, 1vs2, melee, range, summoner bosses, etc. it's all about variety

On the contrary. Making a boss around the enemies IS HARD. You make it too complex, and it becomes a mess, you make it too simple and it becomes too easy once the enemies die.
You clearly haven't learned the combat of the game in the slightest.
Variety is needed.

@Maliykus Riddled with artificial difficulty, copy/paste arena boss fights, some of the worst walk balks to bosses since DS2, and worse healing mechanics than the first silk song. Yeah, unfortunately I don’t think ‘exceed’ is the word I’d use for this game.

@box_shades @Maliykus I didn’t struggle, it was just repetitive and not a fun playing experience, the game wasn’t as hard as people were making it out to be. I’ve played through all the souls and souls-likes. I know what good and bad game design is and when something is truly hard.

@arfa2706 Instead of making a BOSS fight they lazily throw in multiple hordes of enemies to make it “difficult” when instead they can just make great bosses. And for the healing, in hollow knight you used to be able to control how much healing you wanted by holding, there was a risk reward
