I've seen a few of these now, where achievement is ranked lower than...all the things that cause achievement (behaviour, curriculum, etc)
I understand how that happens but a lot of teachers and leaders will look at it and say "nah doesn't make sense"

Achievement an outlier again here. Lots needs attention, but nothing urgent other than achievement which is an outlier. Does nothing else really need attention urgently in an attempt to improve achievement. Very high fsm6

We love to say we’re building a ‘love of reading’. The evidence suggests we’re doing no such thing. Pleasure doesn’t lead to fluent reading; fluency makes pleasure possible. Reading for pleasure should be an outcome, not a curricular aim. Trying to teach enjoyment is missing the point.
