@JuliaElmer7

Not a bot. Honest. Just can’t be arsed to follow and not bothered about being followed. Comment mostly to encourage great stuff or call out ill informed bull.

My 16-year-old son carl had to hand his notice in at his part-time job at a chip because he now has a full-time apprenticeship he tells them politely and sends a email, this is what they replied......" Carl has been a pleasure to have with us. His work ethic and attention to detail has been a breath of fresh air. " to say I'm proud of him would be a understatement.

My 6-year-old is obsessed with baseball movies. So far I’ve shown him The Sandlot, Rookie of the Year, and Little Big League. Am I missing any he can track and enjoy?

@LuddySteve @Pablosquest @MarcusJBall @BorisJohnson Yep like that was the amount of staff they have that can safely look after those beds. Beds aren’t physical beds, it’s shorthand for “the ability to keep 11 people alive”. Usually sufficient. Meanwhile 12,13 and 14 have nowhere to go.

@Pablosquest @LuddySteve @MarcusJBall @BorisJohnson Yep. A million Charlatans, many on very average or below average wages, all siding with the government when it is long recognised that many public service staff are likely to vote Labour. Absolutely plausible.

@Pablosquest @LuddySteve @MarcusJBall @BorisJohnson I can understand why you feel better thinking this. It’s comforting to believe things aren’t as bad as “the media” makes them out to be. After all, they lie about such a lot. But it really isn’t Jackanory and there are thousands of NHS staff you can ask directly.

@LuddySteve @Pablosquest @MarcusJBall @BorisJohnson You could try looking at a month on month report rather than a year as a whole. We had two massive spikes of activity. Those were the scary bits. That was when we had admin teams coming in to prone patients as we didn’t have enough clinical staff.

@JuliaElmer7 @Pablosquest @MarcusJBall @BorisJohnson The NHS wasn't under any more pressure on 2020 than it normally experienced. Sure, some were, but that's only natural when you brainwash the public into believing that having a cough is a death sentence.

@Pablosquest @MarcusJBall @BorisJohnson Hospital admission rates were sky high. There are a million NHS workers in this country and if you spoke to any one of them who worked in a hospital during that time they’ll confirm this was not normal times.

@MarcusJBall @BorisJohnson We know from CCU admission rates, unused Nightingales and trusted source all cause mortality that there was no plague nor any novel disease. A real plague would also be apparent in the street would it not?

@Dr___H___Lekter @MarcusJBall As medical professionals you are not permitted to discuss individual patients. With anyone, press or not. Only the patient can do that. They have been doing their job.

@MarcusJBall I'm not making any judgements about them One of them was from New Zealand, the other from Portugal I just found it a little storage how they didn't give any interviews & instead just went straight back home soon as #LiarJohnson recovered when nurses were needed here in the NHS

@HouseChambers My gran died this year age 104. She was vehemently anti Brexit. How dare you suggest that an entire generation should be penalised because they “deserve it”.

@familybrief That is the generation that most voted for Brexit though. How many people's lives were turned upside down by that? So arguably karma?

@JohnnyB42049655 @frogyuk The can’t have it if inflation goes up and then can’t have it if inflation comes down then? Also - years of below inflation pay rises is a good argument of why we should.

@jzux I think it’s also the invalidating idea that we’re supposed to go back to normal like we didn’t just all experience a traumatic period.

everyone i know in their late 20s is having an existential crisis because we skipped our mid 20s in the pandemic. relationships fast-tracked, careers faltered, we lost those core identity-building years and now we feel like 23-year-old brains in bodies approaching 30
