Rogantino per sempre ❤️ On Monday, August 26, we picked you up from Schiphol Airport, ready to welcome you to our Service Course for the first time. You had a smile on your face, from ear to ear. It was a special moment, not only for you, but also for us. You were about to make your dream come true. 🥪 There was an instant click and you ate your first ‘tosti’ with us and you loved it. It became a simple symbol of the warm welcome we wanted to give you. Not long after that came the moment you had worked so hard for: signing your very first professional contract as a cyclist. After you put down the pen, you thanked your family. It was clear how proud you were and how much it meant to you to have them by your side. When @BasTietema, Wim and I (@JuliaSoek) traveled to Spoltore for your farewell, we felt the warmth of your family and saw the beautiful Italian hills where you trained daily. The impact you left on the community is immense. As we sat there at your kitchen table, surrounded by photos, trophies and memories of a wonderful career that lasted too short, we saw the role cycling played in your life. We are proud that we were able to share the last miles of your race with you and your family.

🍀 Raketten met Rob voor het goede doel! Onze ploegleider @RobHarmeling fietst deze week (4 t/m 8 maart 2024) voor de Maartens Foundation het hele land door. Hij zet zich in voor mensen met een motorische beperking en wil (ex-)revalidanten een eerlijke kans op werk en een toekomst geven. Daarom haalt hij met de Geluk in Beweging Challenge geld op. Dat doet hij door te fietsen en niet zomaar op zijn eigen raketfiets… Hij sleurt een enorme ‘toolbox’ achter zich aan! Wij zijn er vandaag op zijn eerste dag bij en jullie kunnen ervoor dat wij extra spullen in zijn toolbox mogen gooien. 🫶 Orian helped us, now we want to help Orian! During our training camp, you may have seen a lot of riders on our socials for the first time. That doesn't apply to Orian. He helped @JuliaSoek and me during our scouting process with good analyses of sometimes guys unknown to us, who are now riding at TDT-Unibet partly because of his input. 📊 🦽 Cycling is no longer possible for himself, due to something he thought was “just a flu”. It turned out to be much more serious than that and paralyzed both his legs. Orian lives in a hilly area of France, so he could use mechanical help. But that help is pricey... 😮‍💨 He put his savings into his rehabilitation and finding a suitable home for his family. That's why he started a crowdfunding. You're already helping him by liking this post to bring it to more people's attention.
