Back to Blenheim today and had the pleasure of meeting the lovely @SabrinaGhayour after her cookery demo. I love her food ethos. Great Persian (and Spanish) flavours just done incredibly well. I picked up great tips for a quick and delicious tomato sauce & spiced potatoes. 😋

@mward1246 @LizQLD58 My suggestions would be, 1. The American Bar at the Savoy Hotel, you need to book a table online but it’s just across the road from the theatre. 2. The Brasserie in the Oxo Tower, which has all day dining and lovely views across the river towards St Paul’s and the City.

Got the bbq on today (youngest was over with his partner) as it was sweltering and made sides of Thai noodle salad with peanut dressing and Greek lemon/oregano potatoes. Have to say I’d have cheerfully binned the grilled stuff just to have that with the bread and aioli!

@CarolineBignell Lapsang Souchong is really subjective, I don’t know many people who like it. I love trying different types of tea, I was absolutely crushed when I tried Blue Oolong and found out it wasn’t blue 🤣

It’s a bit damp and rainy so it’s the perfect afternoon for a cup of tea and a good book. The cake is a chocolate cherry cake with ricotta and strawberries.
