Perfect conditions for the last day of the annual balloon festival today - huge crowds out early to enjoy the spectacle. As usual, Capital Chemist balloon coming in low over the lake to tow some of the kayaks on the water - love it! ❤️

Not every day you need to call Emergency Services but spotted smoke and flames coming from the roof of the Government offices opposite! 🔥 A quick response by Fire Service meant hopefully not too much damage done!

My son asked me to do some canapés for his close friends for his 30th at his house in London - either he is popular or someone spilt the beans that I used to be a Michelin ⭐ Chef - 50 turned up

Middle son had to come to Sydney for an exam today. Meant he missed the Broken Hill cricket grand final, where, of course, his team won! Hope he did well in the exam….😩

Tahs husband's birthday today. We've taken a train trip to Oberammagau which can i say is the most beautiful Bavarian town. Absolutely gorgeous. 😀 We had lunch in a lovely restaurant. Dinner is in munich with our friends. And @Nickjames40Nick look what I chose!! 😀😀

Walked to Blackpill & into Clyne for a coffee from the caravan, sadly Japanese bridge still roped off, up Mayals, down to West Cross Inn & home. Birdsong everywhere & woodpeckers drumming. Always happy outdoors!

I was given a Denby coffee set like this for my 18th birthday - the height of fashion at the time - spotted this morning in an antique shop in Fyshwick 🙈😂
