I can write voluminous pages of intricate, impassioned ideas (albeit probably illegible) in a few minutes but I cannot manage to do the simplest of errands without major procrastination and struggle.

@JulianeWriter , if you recall the post you made some while back wherein I referenced the inherent danger of the necessary adaptations. There was someone else I had a similar chat with recently as well, but I recalled yours expressively because, well, I value your erudite musings.

Had a few exchanges on here recently concerning the psychological adaptations people make to survive in pathocratic societies. We normalizes these adaptations as necessary. Some are aware of these processes, some are not. Were we to remain perfectly sane, the system would seek to destroy us with all its weight and might. It does not abide rationality or conscientiousness overlong. Here’s an article where I touched on the subject: open.substack.com/pub/brian8534/…

This person in my Local Facebook chat group wants to hire a Nanny for their upcoming cruise with multiple children and then not pay them for accompanying them LOL.

@BrianRoemmele They think people did brick and mortar shopping in ‘20, and in-restaurant dining in ‘25? Does the AI not know how to depict online ordering and delivery services, or.?

1952, Social Guidance Film. It was seen by most high school girls for a decade. A 1960 version was made and it was removed in 1973. Nothing replaced it.

When my father or siblings would harm me, my Mother would simply say, “There’s no such thing as revenge.” and encourage me to be silent about it. Why can people only conceptualize accountability in terms of Violence, Vengeance, and Retaliation.?

@V00UGHTS @rockinRodentz Yes you can have comorbid NPD and ASD and/or ADHD. You can also have hyperempathy, no one is the same.!

@rockinRodentz @JulianeWriter Not only this, but it’s entirely possible to have both autism or ADHD and NPD. Studies have even shown that people with ADHD are more likely to be considered notably high in narcissistic traits, including fulfilling the criteria for NPD, in comparison to the general population.

Narcissists are very empty inside, very insecure, so they have developed "airs" of grandiosity. They are simultaneously envious and protect shame upon those who don't do that, and target them, accordingly.!

Narcissists intentionally target certain kinds of people because they know they will be particularly susceptible to their machinations.

I don't know about you, but when I see the chatbot icons at the corners of websites, I tune them out and ignore them. They are destroying our environment for things we don't need and never asked for ffs.!

Narcissists pick people who are ignored and tell them how great they are when no one else does. "Finally someone gets me!" Then they subsequently abandon you when they don't want anything from you.!

I theorize that some people develop Narcissistic traits as a way of managing their environment and those around them. To get potentially regulating accommodations the only thing that works is being demanding, and tyrannical.!
