I am disgusted and outraged by the dangerous words of @NYCMayor Mamdani Mayor Mamdani, Your words incite hatred and violence against Jews across New York City. More than 100,000 Israelis live in New York City, who have served and continue to serve in the Israel Defense Forces. Hundreds of thousands of Israeli visitors who are currently serving in the IDF also come to New York City each year. You know your repeated accusations that Israel deliberately targets babies and hospitals fuels hostility and attacks toward Jews and Israelis in New York, regardless of whether they have any connection to the conflict. The summer is always a period of heightened tensions and increased incidents of violence. Yet you continue using inflammatory rhetoric without regard for the safety of New Yorkers who are targets because of it. Words have consequences. In your pre election interviews you kept deflecting this issue by saying you will be focusing on the safety and progress for the citizens of NYC: You know everything I wrote above, and you know the risk that your dangerous and false accusations that Israel deliberately targets babies and hospitals place a target on Jews throughout New York City. Do you want to set the city on fire and see Jews and Jewish institutions attacked?

Recovery doesn't make you immune to pain. I'm approaching 14 years sober, but that doesn't mean I don't still struggle with my mental health. Today I went to therapy, and we talked about something that's easy to forget: even after you've rebuilt your life, you're still human. I've worked my ass off to change my life. I went from addiction and homelessness to building a life I'm proud of, helping others find recovery, and trying every day to leave this world a little better than I found it. Then my therapist said something that completely changed my perspective: "Why do you care what someone who isn't a supporter of you thinks? If someone in your support circle said it, then it would be worth paying attention to. But these people are stuck in the mud, and they want to pull you into it because they're miserable." Boom. That hit me hard. 💥 I've spent years climbing out of the mud, and I'm not going back. If you're struggling too, remember this: not every opinion deserves space in your head. Protect your peace. Keep moving forward.

Maybe if you are in need of a knee replacement it may take a while for surgery but if it's serious they don't mess around. Canada rocks.

@MotoMoto639 @krassenstein @Bratt_world Canadians are making that choice dear. Even if it were on the shelves most people would not buy it. Look around at your neighbors hurt by this, or maybe they don't tell you their truth because you come across as opinionated.

Canadians aren’t making that choice, if they were that would be fine, unless the government actively encouraged you against buying US goods or impeded your access to it. The problem is that it is not a consumer choice, the provincial government in 8 provinces removed it and are not allowing Canadians to make a choice….

@sarobertson_ Maybe some basic stuff takes longer but if you have something serious it is really fast. My husband went to the ER last Wednesday eve for bad back pain, since then he's had a ct scan and surgeries are booked and no bankruptcy bills.

We could not do that in the USA, being in the emergency room three days and only $800. @sarobertson_ Lies lies lies. Canadian here. My husband just had an mri and an ct scan last week, took only 2 weeks to schedule and completed. Since, because they found something in 3 days he had a EUS and doctors appointments are flying. Our medical system may not be perfect but it's fast.
