There are usually three ways people end up banking with us, depending on what’s going on in their life or financial journey: 💰️Opening or switching accounts Getting set up with checking, savings, or tools that make everyday banking easier. 💸Financing something important Buying a car, home, or investing in a business or property. 💎Looking for guidance and a long-term banking partner Planning ahead, growing their finances, or just wanting a bank that actually knows them. Most people land in one of these at some point. Which one sounds most like you right now?

Please join us in celebrating Dynette White, our Employee Volunteer of the Year! 👏   Dynette generously volunteered more than 25 hours this past year supporting community events and initiatives, all while continuing to excel as an outstanding project manager at FNB Community Bank. We are grateful for her servant heart, leadership, and the positive impact she makes both inside the bank and throughout our community. Thank you, Dynette, for representing FNB so well!

FNB Community Bank was proud to support the Junior Service League of Midwest City’s Annual Gala this past weekend. It was an evening celebrating service, leadership, and community impact. Pictured is Senior Vice President Julie Waddle and Commercial Banking Officer Sarah Graham, joined by several family members including sustaining members Lindsey Lancaster and Heather Croak. Julie and Heather are both past presidents of the Junior Service League. The organization holds a special place in our bank’s history, as it was helped founded by Linda Croak, wife of FNB Chairman Emeritus Robert Croak, whose legacy of philanthropy continues to inspire our community. Each year, the League presents the Linda Croak Service Award to an outstanding individual making a difference. This year’s recipient, Jennifer Blair of the Brendan McCarty Foundation, was honored for helping provide life-saving asthma equipment to students in schools. Congratulations to Jennifer and to the Junior Service League for another incredible evening dedicated to service.

As Chair of the Midwest City Chamber this year, Shaina and I set a fun goal: 100 photos together in 2026. The Chamber is constantly out in the community, supporting events, businesses, and initiatives, and we realized how often we show up but forget to capture the moment.

Every time you shop small, you make a big difference. Local businesses are the heartbeat of our community. They sponsor youth sports, donate to fundraisers, and greet customers by name. This holiday season, consider how your dollars can help them thrive. When you spend $100 at a local business, roughly $68 stays in your community, compared to only $43 when shopping at a national chain. That local impact supports jobs, schools, and services that benefit everyone. Supporting small businesses doesn’t always mean spending more. Grab coffee at a local café instead of a big chain, buy unique gifts from a local boutique, or hire a local service provider for home projects. Even sharing their social media posts or leaving a positive review can help them reach new customers. As you shop this Small Business Saturday (Nov. 29) and throughout the season, use your FNB debit or credit card to support local merchants. It’s an easy way to give back and feel good doing it. Together, we can keep our community strong, connected, and thriving for generations to come.

You want to say yes. To the concert, the weekend trip, the group dinner that somehow always turns into an $80 night. But your budget? It’s telling you to slow down.  If you’ve ever felt stuck between being fun and being responsible, you’re not alone. Setting money boundaries doesn’t mean missing out. It just means being clear on what works for you. ✔️ Offer an alternative that costs less. ✔️ Set a limit before the night starts. ✔️ Say yes to the invite, but no to the extras. ✔️ Check in with your bank app before your plans (not after).  Being smart with your money is the move! 💸
