California just released 7 beavers into the wild for the first time in California in 75 years. Thanks to the leadership of tribal partners and years of preparation, we’re entering a new chapter of restoring California’s wildlife and critical habitats.
Congratulations to the new California Coastal Commission Chair Caryl Hart. And a farewell and huge debt of thanks to outgoing Chair Donne Brownsey for her service to the coast. She will be deeply missed on the Commission.
My message to the UN: This climate crisis is a fossil fuel crisis. It’s not complicated.
