I visited the interim housing community that's creating stable homes now while laying the groundwork for permanent affordable housing over the next 5–6 years. I'm proud to have helped secure federal funding to support this project and invest in housing that keeps people in the communities they call home. This is the kind of partnership and creativity we need to tackle our housing shortage across our region and country. When Democrats take back the House, housing will be a top priority for us to tackle.
