I don't understand what kind of "gotcha" you think it is to prove that she existed outdoors prior to catching covid? That is literally what it says in the BBC article...

@Or1ginalSandman @BBCNews That is still a highly relevant fact about covid though - millions of people have existing health conditions and catching covid could make them so unwell they become bedbound. We should care about that and try to prevent spreading covid.

@Or1ginalSandman @BBCNews Prior to catching covid she was well enough to work part time as a vet surgeon, be physically active and a very active member of climate campaign groups - after catching covid she literally can't get out of bed. What part of that makes the covid infection seem irrelevant to you?

@BBCNews Read the story - both people mentioned have got ME FFS. they've also had COVID at some point. Headline may as well read "woman housebound for a year after crossing the road/getting a hair cut/brushing her teeth..." 🙄

@DJWeduwen I started working ~3 months before submission & finished writing while working full time (hard recommend you do not do this unless you need to!) Was supposed to be paid until submission but my funding was axed as soon as my salary started which I'm still salty about tbh
