Аргентина отказала в гражданстве моему мужу. Причина: выезды из страны (по 1 выезду в год в среднем на 8 дней). Несмотря на то, что запрос на гражданство был подан до миграционного декрета Милея от 28 мая, суд (первая инстанция и апелляционная комиссия) посчитали, что проживание в течение 2 лет должно быть строго без выездов. То есть мы имеем дело с обратной силой закона. Кому Аргентина продолжает выдавать гражданство (для подавшихся до декрета): - родители аргентинцев; - нелегальные мигранты без попыток легализоваться в стране и доходов (главное ведь, что они не выезжали). Кому не выдаёт: - законопослушные граждане, интегрировавшиеся в страну, изучавшие испанский, легализовавшие доходы и уплатившие с них кучу налогов, купившие здесь недвижимость, и имевшие наглость выехать из страны на корпоративные мероприятия и чтобы увидеть родителей. Любые миграционные политики государства и их ужесточения делают хуже только тем, что живут по правилам. Оккупанты, наркокартели, преступники любого вида чувствуют себя при этом отлично. Спасибо за этот урок, Аргентина. Я его никогда не забуду.

En este momento tenemos 72 casos de juzgado iniciados DESPUÉS del DNU 366/2025- Ya hay dos que continúan su normal proceder. Y ayer hemos ganado en Cámara dos casos: uno por negación de ciudadanía por viajes y otro por haber ingresado al sistema luego de mayo 2025.

For now, the gold rush for Argentina's citizenship is on pause. And it is not the only route that's frozen. Decree 366/2025 from May last year moved naturalization processing from the federal courts to Migraciones (DNM). Almost a year later, the kiosko at Migraciones still does not exist. No new applications have been processed since the decree, and the only cases moving are the grandfathered ones still sitting on judges' desks from before the handover. So as of right now: no working Citizenship by Investment tender, no functioning naturalization pipeline, and no clear timeline for either. The door to the Argentine passport is technically open. Practically, nobody is at the desk:

First, the mother needs to get citizenship; after that, she can apply. Depending on the consulate or RENAPER office

We used this method and got approved by the immigration services in 2022, when all the Russians got rejected for not being able to send SWIFT transfers. Now it is the norm.

@MyLatinLife I believe for the rentista, funds must be remitted to Argentina and converted to pesos. Big drawback - not to mention disclosing assets to a high tax jurisdiction with a wealth tax on global assets.

Me hizo acordar cuando necesitaba una beca y mi amiga necesitaba que alguien le cuide el pibe de 2 años. Me lo llevé a la facultad, fui por el formulario de beca con él a upa, sonreía y pedía caramelos. Me aprobaron en ese instante, única de la fila que se la dieron directo
