I want to see what Emery has got tactically for the second half. Too many say he's the answer for Utd. But he's interesting. His teams are always crumbling when it matters and he never takes heat. Thoroughly out coached. I want to see what motivational factors he has. I want to see if he can make his team puff their chest out as ucl team.

Has anyone considered McKenna over Carrick with Carrick and Holland staying on as coaches (can’t lose Holland imo)? Not to say I want up and coming but body of work is more impressive since leaving United.

I don't think Manchester City actually want to sign Elliott Anderson , I think what's going on here is Carrick will pick up the phone to Pep and say 'Listen, United are going to do the incremental bid approach. If you put a higher bid in that will push my owner.

Carrick should be aiming to shape his Utd side in the image of Zidane’s Madrid. Zidane wasn’t some elite tactician but his teams thrived on close combinations and players constantly linking to overload areas and overwhelm opponents through pure associative play.
