Today the city of Denver is overseeing the transfer of 35 Denver Mountain Park bison to the Northern Arapaho Tribe, Eastern Shoshone, Porcupine District of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, Yuchi Tribe, and TallBull Memorial Council to reintroduce bison to tribal lands.
