They Asked Me To Tone It Down On Akerele So As Not To Undermine The Police Or Its ‘Task F0rce’ Or Other Tactical Units. I Have Agreed To Only ‘Slow It A Bit’ Until Akerele Is Unarguably Removed. Removing Akerele Is The Irreducible Minimum We Can Demand. There Are Many Competent Hands In The @PoliceNG That Can Handle That Task F0rce Without Flagrantly V!olating Or Abvsing Human Rights. Akerele Acts With Gross Impunity Too Crude For A Civilized Environment & Can’t Function In A Place Of Civil People Like Lagos. He Has Groomed & Emboldened Too Many M!screants & T0uts To Be T3rror!zing Lagosians For Money. Again, Until They Remove Akerele From That Unit And Replace With A More level Headed Officer Who Can Balance Enforcement With Respect For Human Rights, Grab Your Popcorn I Have Loads For Your Screen. Keep Refreshing This Page I Will Keep Them Sliding In… #BeObjectv

Troubling Developments in Our Polity that Must Be Nipped in the Bud. I have just been made aware early this morning that Revered religious leader, Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Umar has been arrested by authorities shortly after hosting me in Kaduna on Sunday. This development underscores the deeply troubling state of our nation and our democracy, where freedom of speech and movement is increasingly threatened, and where citizens and perceived political opponents face harassment and unnecessary persecution. This cannot be allowed to continue. This country must defend freedom and free speech, which are the hallmarks of every democratic society. Suppression and intimidation of dissent can never stand in a democratic society, and this Nigerian government must understand this fact. I respectfully call on all those bent on undermining our already fragile democracy to please stop and apply the rule of law and tenets of democracy in dealing with citizens. -PO

@GRVlagos I think the students should protest against the school management. But again, we no longer have student union government that holds school management accountable.

Officially titled the ‘Construction and Furnishing of a 484-bed Landmark Student Hostel at the University of Lagos’, it was included in the Zonal Intervention Project (ZIP) Appropriation Act of 2020, with a total allocation of N1.6 billion for its construction. The hall was commissioned on January 3, 2024, by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, who represented his predecessor, Gbajabiamila. However, to the disappointment of many students, the newly constructed hostel did not function as a government-funded project; it was just another commercial enterprise. “When they were commissioning it, I really thought this would be a huge relief, but that wasn’t the case. The cost of a bed space there is as expensive as other private hostels. We could even get some that are cheaper than what they are charging at Gbaja Hall,” says Jude Egbas, a Law student who has been squatting with his friends for two semesters. Businessday Investigations found that students living in the Femi Gbajabiamila Hall of Residence pay N950,000 per session for a single-occupancy room while occupants in a four-man room each pay N710,000. This amounts to N2,840,000 for every four-man room in the facility.

We call on the @Census2023 to publicly clarify these expenditures. We also urge @officialEFCC, @icpcnigeria and the @nassnigeria to take interest in this matter and ensure that public funds meant for the national census are transparently accounted for.
Tracka@TrackaNG

Today's big Question; Where is the N129.5bn? Nigeria’s last population census was conducted in 2006. Two decades later, the country still does not have updated data about how many people live here. Yet between February 2022 and December 2023, we tracked that N129.5bn was paid for different activities related to the conduct of the truncated population census. So our simple question: Where did the money go? Since March 2, 2026, we have written to the National Population Commission requesting clarification on how these funds were spent but till today, there has been no response. However, our independent tracking has revealed that funds were spent on items such as: • N118.38bn for Personal Digital Assistants and Accessories • N2.47bn for Hilux vehicles • N499.8m for power banks • N106.19m for an e-recruitment portal Yet Nigerians still do not know the full details, outcomes, or the current status of the census exercise. This is not just about numbers, without accurate population data: 📌 Children end up in overcrowded classrooms 📌 Hospitals and Primary Health Centres are under provided 📌 Governments struggle to allocate resources fairly 📌 Social programmes are designed with guesswork instead of evidence 📌 Development planning and representation suffer Behind every statistic are real people whose needs are not properly counted, N129.5bn is public money and Nigerians deserve answers. We call on the @Census2023 to publicly clarify these expenditures. We also urge @officialEFCC, @icpcnigeria and the @nassnigeria to take interest in this matter and ensure that public funds meant for the national census are transparently accounted for. Because a country cannot plan its future without knowing its people. #publicfundsmustworkforthegoodofthepeople #Askquestions

Thank you for the birthday calls, wishes and prayers. May the LORD no longer give your grain as food for your enemies; and may the sons of the foreigner not drink your new wine, For which you have labored in Jesus name.

A country of 200M+ people in darkness, yet leaders chase mandates over basic power. Fix electricity first—restore hope. Instead, we have Band A–D with no real increase in generation or distribution. Policy without capacity is failure.

Band A guarantees ≥20hrs/day supply. Current delivery is less than 100hrs/week, a breach of tariff conditions& service-level obligations. @NERCNG @IkejaElectric this misrepresents service class. Enforce compliance, downgrade or apply compensation as provided in regulation.
