I totally agree that being vocal is important for the game's survival, feedback is the only way it improves. My point isn't that people should be silent. It’s that there’s a massive line between 'this update feels lacking' and the personal slander/hostility I see on social media to the dev team.

I’m going to be honest, the frustration over Minecraft updates is one thing I’ll never quite wrap my head around. I bought this game about 15 years ago, and it’s still getting free content to this day. In a gaming landscape where everything is a subscription or a $20 skin, getting any free update on a 15-year-old receipt feels like a massive win. Why are we complaining again? Maybe, I'm just missing something.

@themodderG There was a chunk of the community saying copper tools was a waste of dev time but the argument against it was “but i can’t always find iron” so why wouldn’t the smartest option be to just increase the rate of iron and decrease the rate of copper

Tbf most people stopped hating on the copper tools just because they forgot their existence.

@not_mynes Hytale may not perform the best for this very reason a lot of the people going into it are expecting it to be “Minecraft but better” and when they find out that Hytale is trying a different direction they may drop the game

@Poopy_Shitass @Supplementariez waste of Dev time to give tools to Copper and the common argument was “Copper is too common might as well give it something” when you could just nerf copper spawn rates and increase the Iron one not to mention it’s slightly weaker so players will just gravitate to iron anyways

@Zhane_Star Yeaaa, tho for me it's also the region design itself also getting less interesting over time imo? Like the earlier games almost strike a metroidvania degree of interconnectivity and making me excited to go back and find secrets or how places link up

I can’t be the only one, but anyone else find Pokémon games way too easy? I sweep through the majority of Gym Leaders, the evil teams and leaders don’t be that intimidating. Maybe Ghetsis and Lusamine. The last time I genuinely struggled was back in Gen 3 and 4.

@NovaWostra @RealFastus @jorgelenny47 @DragonNoonim Sure but the three games mentioned are still all Sandboxes in which you can build in and mess around in, i use Ark as an example as well because everyone always hears the Terraria and Minecraft comparison, all three game’s also have progression
