According to the claims, the Estate went to the Cascios for support after LN aired, and the Cascios claimed "abuse". The Estate then signed an agreement for their "life rights" and paid them millions over a 5 year period. When that agreement was nearing the end, that's when Frank allegedly tried to extort the Estate. The Estate then filed a motion to compel arbitration, because that is what is in the agreement. The Estate just won that case, and now the civil extortion charge will be decided by an arbitrator. Arbitration decisions are private, so we may never know how his case is finally ruled.
