Tonight some of our Junior Roses has a group video call together! They answered quiz questions, designed training games to run, set goals for the new season and came up with culture pillars to define the team. They listed:

What a successful day! It was debuts galore!! In the U13s We had great tackles, runs across the pitch and most importantly smiles. In the U15s We had fearsome tackles and a hat-trick! We also had some members of the senior ladies try out refereeing for the first time ever!

It’s game day! Our girls are at home today for a festival style series of matches!

Tomorrow: We welcome @MorleyRugby and @oldbrodsgirls to YM for an open training session! All kicks off at 12pm with adaptive, skills and contact games. All done in time so that players and coaches can watch England’s opening six nations game 👍

Our junior girls are away at Sheffield Swans tomorrow! First away match in a few weeks, we’re looking forward to seeing how the blend of matches and festivals and advanced their skills!

Thank you to all clubs who came along today! We had lots of fun, lots of learning points throughout the sessions and there was lots of mud! Our girls had fun, got stuck in and one even played her first ever game! Training for junior girls is Thursdays 6-7pm

It was so good to catch up with our friends and make some new ones! All our age grade teams got a game and got muddy!
