I voted for @realDonaldTrump, and I’m ecstatic about what D.O.G.E. has accomplished so far, but this sudden pivot on Ukraine feels a bit extreme. Putin is not suddenly a hero, and now we’re vilifying Zelenskyy in an over-the-top way. I get that we don’t know everything, and there’s a lot happening behind the scenes, but this really feels like we’re doing a full backflip and suddenly cheering for a dictator like Putin—which is a sentiment I definitely don’t share. Also, while I do think Europe needs to step up and contribute more to NATO—and that their current stance on freedom of speech is a mess—they’re lagging behind culturally, just like we were under Biden. They need to figure it out, just like we did. But cutting them out of the negotiation table completely? That’s another level.
