A warm welcome to our Safeguarding and Wellbeing team. They have been working hard to ensure our students have a smooth transition back to school following many months in lockdown. Our service helps to ensure positive mental wellbeing and motivation for a return to education.

We’ve done it! Woodroffe is now open to all students following the phased reopening. 96% attendance across all years 7-13. Thank you for your continued support and for ensuring the prompt return of students to their education at Woodroffe.

There are few things more inclusive you can do than to ask someone's opinion, especially when they do not yet know whether their voice is valued in a room. To ask student who has not volunteered, "What do you think?" is to tell them their voice matters. #ColdCall

Preparing carefully beforehand is the best way to be ready to improvise successfully during a lesson. When you know your lesson well, your working memory is free to perceive what students are doing & thinking. This allows you to better decide how to make adaptations & changes.
