At checkout, The cashier asked if i would round up for military families in need.
I asked back WTF does that even mean?
Like….veterans in need? Or active duty in need? Because wtf would i be donating to active military in need? Isn’t that what my taxes are for?
The lady behind the counter didn’t know. But still. Why the fuck is the dollar store asking me to donate to the military?

Passed by 4 White boys in my neighborhood with a lemonade stand.
I pull over and walk back,
Oldest kid (maybe 10yo) runs up and says “I will be helping you today sir”
I immediately tell him the professionalism is astounding and to keep it up.
He asks me if i want strawberry lemonade or regular, i responded that i was impressed they had options.
Walk up to the stand and ask the boys what their proceeds are going towards, they tell me next seasons baseball gear.
I give them all the ones in my wallet and told them to have a blessed day.
Small and simple interaction but it put a smile on my face. You just love to see it.
