TYLER ROBINSON & THE MYSTERY OF THE (MULTIPLE?) DODGE CHALLENGERS
While we're trying to figure out where Tyler was and when, and whether the Dodge Challengers in various bits of camera footage are him, or not, I thought it would be instructive to tell you about the 2 white mustangs in the MLK Jr. ass*ssination.
▪️THE FIRST MUSTANG (#1)▪️
The patsy James Earl Ray’s white Mustang had Alabama plates, and was parked in front of Jim’s Grill (owned by Loyd Jowers). Two witnesses, Ray Alvis Hendrix and William “Bill” Reed, said they examined it and then saw it being driven away around 5:45 pm, roughly twenty minutes before King was shot.
▪️THE SECOND MUSTANG (#2)▪️
The second Mustang had Arkansas plates and was parked farther south, just below Canipe’s store (where the fake murder weapon & bullets were dropped). Witness Charles Hurley said he parked behind it and distinctly remembered the Arkansas plate.
SCENARIO
The patsy, James Earl Ray, was away from the scene in his Alabama Mustang when King was shot. But, there were shooters in the bushes behind Jim's Grill and military snipers at the fire station.
Someone—probably either Raul (Ray's handler and known criminal associate of Jack Ruby) or Russell Adkins Jr. (of the Dixie Mafia), the two likeliest candidates—collected Ray’s belongings from the rooming house (where Ray allegedly shot from) & the drop gun, ran downstairs, dropped the bundle in Canipe’s doorway, and escaped in the Arkansas-plated Mustang.
The probable bushes shooter, Frank Strausser of Memphis PD, may also have reached that second Mustang and been driven away by whomever it was that dropped the gun bundle at Canipe's. The second car therefore helped make it appear that Ray had dropped the rifle & fled in his own white Mustang.
BONUS: THE DROP BUNDLE
A few minutes before the killshot, Guy Canipe said he heard the drop bundle get left at his store. It contained the Remington Model 760 Gamemaster, chambered in .30-06, that Ray allegedly used, but was just a gun that Ray thought he was helping Raul traffic. The FBI tested this gun & found its sighting was off by over 5 inches.
Also in the bundle were nine unused .30-06 cartridges, and one empty cartridge case still in the rifle. The death slug was not a ballistics match for this gun, nor did the death slug match any of the remaining unused rounds.
The rest of the contents of the drop bundle: binoculars, zippered plastic overnight bag, toiletries, portable radio, two cans of beer, part of the April 4 1968 "Memphis Commercial Appeal", and pliers & a tack hammer (just missing a screwdriver!). This of course was meant to convince everyone that James Earl Ray for sure did the crime—after all, this was all his stuff! If they'd had DNA testing back then, they'd have found his DNA all over it.
Is any of this sounding familiar? Lol
Yes, Ray was engaged in a criminal conspiracy—to traffic guns. Or so he thought. Unfortunately, he would later find out that he was actually the pawn in a much larger & more sinister conspiracy.
All things to keep in mind as you evaluate the "evidence" against Tyler Robinson.
They used Lee Harvey Oswald body doubles in the JFK assassination, and decoy cars in the MLK assassination. What are the odds the Charlie Kirk conspirators featured both of these plot devices?
What do you think? Were there body doubles and Challenger decoys in the Charlie Kirk assassination? What about planted evidence framing the patsy Tyler Robinson?
