Raising the retirement age to 70 is the right thing to do. Our life expectancy is well ahead of 65 now, a far cry from the beginning of SS when most were not expected to reach that age. If you don’t support raising the age to keep it solvent, you are going to drive the country into default. And those pensions? Not expected to get it until later in life, not that it matters either because it’s pennies compared to what MTG made in her private life before MTG was a Congresswoman.

So Rand Paul wants all of us to work to 70 before we draw SS but Congress can draw lifetime pensions and full medical after 5 years for working 9 months out of a year .Did I get that right?
