This Studio Ghibli AI trend is an utter insult to the studio and anime/cinema in general. the real issue is that the AI is clearly trained on copyrighted material without permission in order to recreate like that. this is what the discussion should be about. It's especially disgusting considering Miyazaki is an artist whose profoundly against AI. Kind of reveals that people care far more about aesthetics than the artist...

@TheVaibhavShrma I believe people have the right to complain about this stuff. Companies will use whatever excuse they have to cut corners and use AI. If we grow too complacent, quality will just go down across the board. That said, I will not crucify people over playing AI games, their choice

I’ve been playing #NevernesstoEverness since launch and honestly? I’m having a great time with the game. The AI controversy doesn’t really change that for me. From what’s being discussed, it’s mostly some animations, in-universe ads, atmospheric/background stuff etc. Not something that affects my enjoyment personally. As for #Ironmouse dropping the game because of AI use.. that’s her stand, her beliefs, her morals, and that’s completely her choice. Respect that. But people also need to stop policing others over whether they should or shouldn’t accept AI-generated content in games. If someone doesn’t want to play it because of AI, fine. If someone still enjoys the game and wants to keep playing, that’s also fine. I like the game. I’m having fun. So I’m going to keep playing it.

@EricJavier875 @iKaito_1 I saw the bank heist stuff and it made me uncomfortable, I didn't realize why at the time, but it was due to the AI segment. We MUST complain about things like that or companies will keep adding more and more until the entire thing is just AI slop. It's a game of tug.

I enjoy the game, but I dislike AI generated content. If we don't complain about this, the entire industry will get filled by AI slop
