@PaulVick138203 Extremely serious slap on the wrist and telling off with a final warning at the very minimum. It brings a bias dark cloud over Sky News.
English

@ShahrarAli You can always smell a politically charged statement from a mile away. Just checked up on Mr Ali and I was correct. He has beef with the Greens. Quite a meal.
English

This would be the first time in history a politician has rectified a failure to pay council tax and apologised for it, but only because it *might* have happened. It wouldn't however be the first time in history a politician has been caught lying.
I find the mental gymnastics of Zack's and party's statements here thoroughly reprehensible.
I've repeatedly said the Green Party act like a law unto themselves.
In Green Party of old such scandalous revelations would have resulted in immediate suspension & eventual deselection. This is a London Assembly member who refused to pay council tax in the London constituency they serve. It has profound consequences for our trust in politics and their suitability for office. I would suggest multiple ethics breaches have occurred. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@Warakeet @indigo_mtrl @Faj1791 Only Lord North beats Truss as the worst PM ever. Major, EMF issue, Thatcher, sold off Britain, Cameron and Osborne, crippled the economy with austerity and then did more damage with Brexit. The Conservatives favourite hobby is damaging the British economy.
English

@indigo_mtrl @Faj1791 Great PM. Best PM since Major. Also Thatcher is the 3rd best PM after the postwar consensus. Worst is Mr. Starmer.
English

@Faj1791 What a blatant lie. "Labour wreck the economy..." Data analysis shows that the Conservatives have damaged the economy multiple time more than Labour ever have. No wonder he says it with a smirk in his face.
English

@PamelaGeller It's complicated. Truss proved useless within days. Starmer took weeks. He is right of centre, hence the lack of support. Local election results indicate a failing government, the Welsh and Scottish national results should have had him gone. Weird.
English

@awgk51 @PamelaGeller Some might pick up on your light hints that Zionist forces are at work destroying the UK and that Starmer is being used as a tool. I guess another one his father made.
English

@PamelaGeller Because he is trying to destroy the UK and doing a good job at it
English

@stevebrookstein Odd that some would think that you are insulting the Zionist Jews who are running the Labour party. Judging on their actions you would think that most people would see what is going on for themselves.
English

Labour is shit. Totally run by Zionist Jews. Whoever comes in will be in their pocket #starmerout
English

@GL0G1C @stevebrookstein Can every tribe who lived in Palestine alongside the various Jewish tribes now go and live in Palestine? No doubt they too have a right to claim land in the area?
Yes, Palestine is was the ancient home of many Jewish and non Jewish tribes.
English

@Neccccy Kaching - Tommy Robinson - AKA Stephen Yaxley-Lennon cashes in to support a murderous oppressive terrorist regime accused of committing genocide.

English

@Nick_Dampier1 @ims1909 @BBCNewsnight @vicderbyshire Tory heartland are not exactly known for their intellect but you are indeed correct. The list of reasons to dislike Starmer is long and growing.
English

"What Labour have to be careful of is the public actually starting to feel sorry for Keir Starmer..."
LBC radio host, Iain Dale, tells @vicderbyshire callers to his show are on the Prime Minister's side.
#Newsnight
English

@BBCNewsnight @vicderbyshire Yes a few callers did feel as if he was being got at. That didn't happen for Liz Truss.
English

@Nick_Dampier1 @ims1909 @BBCNewsnight @vicderbyshire That award goes to Liz Truss. Starmer is a tad behind David Cameron.
English

@ims1909 @BBCNewsnight @vicderbyshire Nor I. He's got to be the most hated politician in a very long time. Its not even marmite, because I've not met one person that likes him.
English

The #bbcqt audience is London centric and hence will be typically full of intelligent people who will of course not reflect many parts of the country. Especially those areas where most people voted for Reform.
Joss@JossJo_1989
@PolitlcsUK Interesting audience. Doesn't in the slightest way reflect what we saw in election results today. #bbcqt
English

@jasonmaynard2 @SPT1603 @Keir_Starmer 1. There is no pot. Tax is just "collected"
2. If you want all pensioners to be given a state pension when it makes up the majority of the benefits bill then I guess the benefits bill will have to stay the way it is.
English

@JustOversight @SPT1603 @Keir_Starmer Not look after the elderly after they have paid into the country all of their lives... Get a grip
English

These are tough results for Labour. There’s no sugarcoating it. We’ve lost brilliant Labour representatives who’ve stood up for their communities.
People are still frustrated. Their lives aren’t changing fast enough. We haven’t offered enough hope or optimism for the future.
I was elected to change this country - tough days like this don’t weaken my determination to do that. They strengthen it.
English

@JustOversight @BasedMillwaII @Keir_Starmer @UKLabour The problem is legals, we have more people moving here each year than we have new houses built
English

@brexitblog_info The real voice of reason asks why people wish to support any corrupt party especially when they are so blatant with it. I.e. the Conservatives, Labour and Reform. All on the grift and all bent and corrupt.
English

The ghastly left wing hatefest that is #bbcqt reached a new nadir this evening.
One of the usual anti-Reform / pro-illegal migrant dimwits in the audience criticised Reform. When Jenrick sought to respond, he was talked over & shut down by Fiona Bruce.
Unwatchable.
English

@clearthetrash @SPT1603 @Keir_Starmer Being that the figure is so small that the Government don't even measure it then it is possibly less than 1%.
English

@JustOversight @SPT1603 @Keir_Starmer And what percentage off claimants are immigrants that have never paid a penny into the pot and live in £300,000 houses all at the tax payers expense and will claim for the rest of their miserable lives.
English

@leonardarudarcy @BasedMillwaII @Keir_Starmer @UKLabour Must be a bot as I've no idea what a non-peer reviewed poll by the "Think Tank" Policy Exchange has to do with my previous post.
English

@jasonmaynard2 @SPT1603 @Keir_Starmer There is no pot for pensions. There never has been. Pension money is paid out from National Insurance payments made by those working today. So who is the numpty now?
English

@JustOversight @SPT1603 @Keir_Starmer Wow.... These people, or the 53% you speak about are owed those pensions, they've paid for them all of their lives, the pot for pensions is already there you numpty!
English
