@Nutzypoo_ttv Absolutely! And as it should, Next gen is the future of the game and where you’ll see it most. It should be developed similar to how PC games are developed. Made with the highest capable systems in mind and then brought down to lesser qualities for less capable systems

@JustPoppe I am 100% here for that. MLB should handle the generation split like NBA and Madden do. Give both current gen and Next Gen copies of the game, but they need to utilize next gen tech.

As excited as I am for MLB the Show 22, I am worried that having to maintain a presence on the PS4 and Xbox One will hold the game back graphically. We desperately need a refresh, and idk if that can happen while hanging on to 9 year old tech.

@Nutzypoo_ttv As of a month ago Sony only reported 10 million in sales. But never the less, there are way better ways to go about optimizing and giving both generations the best product rather than just shutting down an entire generation of consoles when there isn’t an abundance of next gen.

@JustPoppe PS5 has sold about 20 million units at this point, through 2 years PS4 had sold 30 million units. There's a definite shortage, but it's not as drastic as people are saying.
