Genuine question. Tech companies are laying off thousands of engineers, and the ones left behind are basically just reviewing AI-generated code. But what happens in 6 months when the AI stops making mistakes? If your entire $200k job has been reduced to proofreading Claude's output, what exactly are they paying you for?

@TukiFromKL H1B should require a tax on the salary of the worker. Something like 50%-100% of their annual salary. Create a training program using those funds to train Americans for future jobs in that category. Secures the future American workforce while discouraging what you describe here.

That’s the problem in India we build structures before infrastructure. I’ve been travelling on the Bharatmala Expressway for the past few days, and yesterday in 500 km there wasn’t even a single proper ladies’ washroom. Found one, but it wasn’t working. We build massive highways, but what about basic amenities? Who cares. Forget food stops at least a clean washroom is essential. Ironically, these highways even lead to 7-star hotels and private properties, yet the approach and basic facilities on the way are just unimaginable! @NHAI_Official
