@jayjaybiinks @MastaBruce_ It was Manute Bol’s archetype. It’s why I chose it. And yes he turned out to have a great defensive career. But he was raw and only got a chance because he had rare physical traits. Like Ura. He is a 1 of 1 athlete. 6’6” 300 and those explosive traits doesn’t happen.

@MastaBruce_ You’re an NBA GM with a pick somewhere around 55-60. The odds of that player making the NBA roster are not great. And there is a not skilled 7’7” guy that can jump and quick feet. Would you take a flyer on him? Just to get him in the G League and see?

His skill was fine, but just didn’t throw hard, hit hard, or run fast. But I kept him because I liked him being around. At 13u he hit puberty and became the best on the team.

No one knows how good a player will be until they hit puberty. Rating 9u-13u players and teams is a joke. Play baseball enjoy juice boxes after the game. Make the game fun @CompeteBasebal @NorCalU1

@mannstopplayin @Milinium21 @MastaBruce_ Not that I’m aware of. But there have been several that didn’t pick up the game until late teens and still got drafted a few years later. Extremely raw but had ridiculous build/athletic profiles.

@DrDumbleDoof @MastaBruce_ Several examples of nba players drafted that had minimal skills but crazy build/athletic profiles that got drafted. None that had never played, but several that didn’t start playing until later teens and got drafted a couple years later.

Also, being an international player he doesn’t count against their roster. Definition of low risk high reward type of move.
