I have heard from multiple different sources that morale inside ICE is terrible right now; that they're worried the Trump admin is about to eliminate the last of the senior career officials in charge and it'll be all loyalists with no care for law enforcement other than quotas.

Trump’s barking again, same tune, different day. Says there’s “millions upon millions” of undocumented folks in cities like LA, Chicago, New York. Real numbers? Way lower. Then he jumps to illegal voting. Come on. There’s no evidence. None. These folks ain’t showing up to vote. They’re showing up to work. Double shifts. Early mornings. Staying outta trouble because one wrong move and they’re gone. Then he says they’re taking jobs and sucking up welfare. Which is it? You can't scrub hotel toilets and be on food stamps at the same time when you’re not even eligible for them. These folks do the jobs no one else wants. You ever see a MAGA guys lining up to work a field at 5AM for minimum wage taking their jobs? Didn’t think so. Now the car washes are closing, farms can’t find workers, restaurants are begging. If they’re stealing jobs, why’s business hurting without them? The guy’s logic doesn't even make sense. And now he blames Democrats for “destroying cities” while he sits behind glass at a $50 million parade for himself. This isn’t American First. It’s fear soup with a side of bigotry. He’s not protecting the country. He’s trying to scare it into loving him while he doubles his wealth in 5 months. Miller writes these posts and somehow we’re supposed to believe it’s about safety. It’s not. It’s about power. It’s about keeping folks scared, divided, and looking at each other instead of up at the ones doing the real robbing.

Mary, this is exactly why it’s so troubling that you’re in Congress and still don’t understand how the Supreme Court works. The Supreme Court doesn’t exist to enforce “the will of the people”, it exists to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law. That means protecting due process, individual rights, and making sure laws are applied fairly and legally, even when it’s politically inconvenient. You don’t get to override someone’s rights just because a group of people are angry or scared. That’s not democracy, that’s mob rule. And no, you can’t just call people “foreign criminals” and demand they be removed from the country without due process. That’s the cornerstone of American law. Even non-citizens are entitled to basic legal protections under the Constitution. The Supreme Court’s job is to make sure the government doesn’t bypass those protections just to score political points. If you want to lead, maybe start by understanding the basics of the job.
