Life is good. Some are devil's advocate, stay away from them so you won't become one of them. Nigeria will be great again but many citizens are evil minded.

@Dr4eyemata @Ayomikunlerry2 @Onsogbu @AniekweN They have citizens like you and I who sees them as benefactors, hence they troop to the street to defend them whenever authorities calls them for questioning. That is where the problem lies

@Dr4eyemata @Ayomikunlerry2 @Onsogbu @AniekweN You must be living in the moon if you say consumers don’t connect wires illegally. This is an eye saw and it happens everywhere in Nigeria. If truly we need good leadership, it must start from the followers mindset. What are you doing to educate people around you on citizenship

@JustTrueTalk1 @Ayomikunlerry2 @Onsogbu @AniekweN Consumers dont connect wires illegally without the help of power distribution staff the bone of contention here is about power generation not consumers illegality, humans in general are lawless, irrespectiv of race provide the electricity first then follow through with laws

@Dr4eyemata @Ayomikunlerry2 @Onsogbu @AniekweN No one said Nigerians can’t afford to pay for electricity, the thing is how many Nigerians are ready to connect their wire legally? The Northern hegemony that sees to ensuring Nigeria is under their grip, what measures are been taken to dislodge them and see justice prevail?

@JustTrueTalk1 @Ayomikunlerry2 @Onsogbu @AniekweN It’s so funny hw politicians and their minions make it seems like Nigerians can’t afford to pay for stable electricity, I have stayed in Cotonou and Ivory Coast for about a month each, electricity is stable, expensive ? Yes, I spent 10k cfa per week, it’s a pity

@Dr4eyemata @Ayomikunlerry2 @Onsogbu @AniekweN It’s never getting worse, you don’t become the best student by playing around, it requires hard work, lengthy study time, dedicated discipline and many more which are done behind closed door. The outcome is only what people see not the work, same with every great nation today

@Ayomikunlerry2 @Dr4eyemata @Onsogbu @AniekweN You’re right, last year April I spent over #500k buy fuel for 27 days. The rot in our public offices can’t be removed in 10 years, it’s a gradual and consistent process. But the thing is that amount is not even up to I much I pay on light bill monthly here

@Ayomikunlerry2 @Dr4eyemata @Onsogbu @AniekweN When electricity tariff was increased, don’t you fume about it? Be sincere. I pay nothing less than $300 on electricity bill every month, minus rent, phone bill and WiFi. A month rent alone will pay a year rent in Nigeria. I’m not saying it is alright yet, but we can get it right

@JustTrueTalk1 @Dr4eyemata @Onsogbu @AniekweN Damn, you only spend 5% of your salary to buy fuel, but in Nigeria, we buy fuel for everything, now tell me, do you use generator in your house, stop making it look like we are enjoying in Nigeria, bring that your dollar and come and spend 1 month here if you won’t run away

@IamSpecial_Kay @Onsogbu @AniekweN Purchasing power are only for those who are working, government aren’t the creator of jobs, then only create an enabling environment which @officialABAT is doing already. Many people who do well abroad don’t just sit and wish, they acquire needed skills to enable them thrive

@VNUwaifo @commonSenseMac @Onsogbu @AniekweN You got it all wrong, I’m not saying Nigeria is better, what I’m saying is other western countries too have their own challenges but you will never see their citizens crying online like Nigerians does. The truth is as much as we have bad leadership, Nigeria citizens are worst

Madam, like yourself I’ve lived both in and outside Nigeria. This ‘new narrative’ that says don’t think everything outside Nigeria is ‘Rosy’ will always fall apart when it comes to be basics. As a %, Nigeria has more people living in absolute poverty than in the US. And no, that doesn’t mean be everyone in the US is living the life of an NBA basketball player. If you’re involved in a road crash in Nigeria, what is the likelihood that you’ll receive the same quality of emergency care compared to the US (and yes, we know there might be some exceptions). More than 90% of those who’ve emigrated from Nigeria have done so for economic reasons. Rich and successful Nigerians hardly migrate, though they may own homes aboard. I have friends living in the US including Houston, and for some a strange reason none of them is in a hurry to move back home, despite all the ‘hardships’ they’re facing in the US. Let’s try and be honest with ourselves and leave the propaganda behind.

@commonSenseMac @Onsogbu @AniekweN You don’t need this narrative, there are many unemployed in the US and many other parts of the world, they can’t buy fuel cos it’s sold for a price in currency not in kindness.
