I've spent the better part of 5 years avoiding any paid deals / shills probably at the opportunity cost of high six figures maybe 7. I've been thinking recently, so long as something is legit and I can personally verify such, it's now dumb to shy away from taking paid deals WITH disclosure. I feel overall, the culture around paid deals in this space has changed drastically and it feels utterly stupid not to get paid when I can if other people are doing so freely. I'd be curious to hear peoples consensus on this idea, would you dislike my tweets more? Would you trust me less? What should be the 'no go' areas?

I think the PvP between $Scuba and $Nick is one of the saddest things we’ve seen lately. As soon as the trend started gaining traction and a GIF of the fox doing the scuba move began going viral, people started trying to claim that the GIF itself was bigger than the trend. Instead of being excited that the existing trend and coin were already starting to gain more virality, the decision was made to deploy a new coin and push that instead. That’s absurd. If we had supported a single coin from the beginning, we’d probably be celebrating the next 6 7 right now. Instead, we’re still here splitting volume and energy between two coins. What made me buy Scuba and immediately understand its potential was the word “scuba” itself. I can imagine kids shouting “scuba” the same way they used to shout “67.” Do we really think “Nick” makes more sense? I absolutely don’t agree. I’m not interested in the daily chart. I want to see, a week from now, after the initial hype of a single GIF fades, which of the two will survive, or whether this sad PvP will have simply ruined what could have been a PvE moment and a coin that could have benefited the entire ecosystem.
