@OlamideAlawode_ @officialABAT You want the President to gamble a whole state (and by extension, his re-election) on the disorganized clowns running Osun APC? Win in November first, let us see if you have the numbers you are claiming.

Your Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, @officialABAT I write to address the fraudulent endorsement by the Adeleke led administration in Osun State. This action is a political maneuver that does not reflect the position of APC members in the state. The recent APC primaries in Osun recorded over 100,000 votes from party members alone, demonstrating our organizational strength and readiness ahead of the governorship election on August 15. With victory at the polls, Osun APC is well positioned to deliver substantial support for your re-election. The party does not require the endorsement of the opposition to secure this outcome. They are just noise makers making empty promises just to seek re-election. Best Regards, Olamide Alawode Osun Youth Ambassador Ward 4, Unit 2, Iragbiji, Osun State

@iyanuiyanuiyanu @bigwale4naija @FolushoxFolarin Something is wrong with the way you reason. Questioning “macroeconomics” and still waffling about “impact on lives of Nigerians” at the same time. Does macroeconomics directly impact the lives of common people in any human society? Even an imbecile knows our macros have improved.

Oluwaponmile lives forever 🕊
@bigwale4naija @FolushoxFolarin You foreign reserves were backed with FPIs (liabilities ) and they don’t have a direct impact on living conditions or job creation for the citizens . So that’s flawed already . I mean a metric that has improved the lives of Nigeria since 2023 .

In tiny senegal... They subsidize petrol, electricity and cooking gas They make 8 billion yearly and spend 3 billion on subsidies. 🙃 Now everywhere is shaking cos economy is tanking and debt to GDP is now 130% (Ours is at 53%) 😆 So now all the money they make, they use it to pay debts, debts they incurred cos they borrowed to fund subsidies. Cheap fuel Cheap electricity Cheap gas But no new schools No new roads No new industries No new trains No new airports No new investments Nothing, they just keep borrowing so they can pay subsidy. What a useless concept.

UAE-India bilateral trade hit $76.2bn last year. Not because Washington or Beijing willed it, but because both sides built the commercial infrastructure. That model matters for emerging markets looking beyond the binary.

Lethargic leadership aside, China’s brand of industrialization is making it difficult for 3rd world countries to industrialize. One reason why we must back the US in their push to break China’s chokehold on global trade and industry. They must be forced to play by the rules.

China doesn’t chase a “strong currency.” It chases factories, exports, and trade dominance. They devalue yuan to make export attractive.💪 Japan has done the same for decades ✍️ build industry, let the currency support competitiveness.

An unnecessary tradition in my opinion. It reeks of the military supremacist mentality that was entrenched my the juntas. BAT should stick to his agbada. We don’t need our civilian Heads of State to keep cosplaying Abacha-era cinematic parades.

Nobody should quote me. But there’s a possibility you will see @officialABAT in military uniform before June 12. If you quote me I will deny you. It’s just a possibility o. It can happen and it may not happen.

The reality on ground necessitates it. The common folks have expectations. Once you are in parliament, constituents bring children who need to pay school fees, roads that need rehabilitation, communities that need new transformers will call you etc. You have to fund it somehow.
SOL@Ajani_ola_SOL

@seunonigbinde Constituency Projects should not exist in the first place because it breeds a ground for corruption. These guys are only after inserting projects in the budget rather than focusing on reviewing the budget. They need to focus on making laws and keeping the executives in check.

The sort of pedestrian rhetorics that should ideally not fly with the educated middle class, but unfortunately, confirmation bias has eaten deep into public discourse. The kind of conversations JSS2B students have while eating egg buns and sucking lolly during break time.

“If I become President, I will use 180 days to tour 36 states in Nigeria so that I can know their problems and I will use the remaining 3.5 years to solve all their problems…..” Peter Obi That's one the funniest political statements I have ever heard. How does he even think??
