𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗨𝗧𝗔𝗣𝗔 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟬. Did you know that there is nowhere in the CAB3 Bill that says President Mnangagwa will only serve an extra 2 years and leave office in 2030? So there is nothing in our law or Constitution that will compel President Mnangagwa to leave office in 2030. This means that if CAB3 is passed this year before September, once the Constitution is amended, President Mnangagwa may start a 7-year term that runs until 2033. He can even go beyond that considering that Chinamasa has said the President has not yet started his term because he has not been in office for 3 years. Chinamasa also said the five years—which would become seven if CAB3 passes—will not count as a term limit. That means the seven years can be extended again by Parliament in 2033, without a referendum. I know many people think Kuda Tagwirei will be President after 2030, but that’s unlikely. President Mnangagwa has already taken the title “King Munhumutapa,” and he wants to pass the baton to his son, the Prince and not a stranger.

A year ago our client chose to buy a 50ha farm with $50k in Ngezi than to buy a stand in Allington. Now we conducted land use planning , drilled a borehole now fencing. This August we will supply Harare with potatoes from this place 😀.

I therefore respectfully want to make it clear that I will not resign. To do so would be to pre-empt a process defined by the Constitution. To do so would be to give credence to a panel report that unfortunately has grave flaws. To do so would be to abdicate the responsibility that I assumed when I became President of the Republic. To resign now would be to give in to those who seek to reverse the renewal of our society, the rebuilding of our institutions and the prosecution of corruption. > President CM RAMAPHOSA

I have watched with growing concern the coordinated campaign to destroy the reputations of loyal servants of this republic and I will not stay silent. Comrade George Charamba has served this nation and its leadership with distinction across decades. He is not a sell-out. He is not a plotter. He is a professional who has navigated the most turbulent corridors of Zimbabwean statecraft with loyalty and intellectual rigour that most of his accusers could never match. This is not a genuine security concern. This is a factional purge dressed up as patriotism. We have seen this script before in Zimbabwe's political history. Identify a loyal comrade. Whisper his name in the right ears. Watch the machinery of suspicion do the rest. Those pointing fingers at Cde Charamba and others I ask you directly who do you serve? Because the men you are targeting have served Zimbabwe long before you discovered your sudden patriotism. To the suggestion that these comrades should resign I say absolutely not. Honourable men do not flee false accusations. They stand. They serve. And history vindicates them. To those compiling lists of names to "name and shame" understand that this is a dangerous game. You are not protecting the President. You are isolating him. You are constructing walls between him and the very people whose counsel and loyalty he needs most.A leader surrounded only by praise singers and opportunists is a leader walking blind. George Charamba and other comrades must hold the line. History is recording.
