@CalltoActivism Why so many cognitive tests? Aren’t those only done to rule out dementia, which would mean there must be concerns in that area? I know Trump’s father developed Alzheimer’s. Maybe all those tests are at Trump’s request because he’s afraid of Developing Alzheimer’s himself.

@joncoopertweets I hope you’re right, but the problem with many of the voters in Kentucky is they tend to be motivated by a sporting event mentality than their own interests. They see this election as “our team got the trophy!” versus long term consequences.

If Thomas Massie pulls off a win in the Kentucky primary tonight — as I believe he will — it will be a hugely embarrassing loss for Trump.

@SDAlvy43 @mmpadellan The Democratic Party introduced a bill in Congress a few years ago for a National ban on gerrymandering. GOP voted against it. Maybe now a similar bill has a chance of passing since the GOP sees it can hurt them. Can hurt Dems too (Texas). Ban It nationally is the only way.

@mindsetmachine I STILL remember things my 1st grade teacher, Miss Smith, taught because she would grab our attention. Example, she’d dance around the classroom singing “i before e except after c”. Over 50 years ago but I can still hear her voice. Learning needs to be interactive.

@mathsci4good @DrNeilStone I’ve heard the Shingles vax can suck ( but better than Shingles!), so I’ve been procrastinating. Recent research which shows the Shingles vax provides some protection against dementia (20% less risk) got me motivated again.

@DrNeilStone Me Sore arm and that is it. Never had Covid, or if I did it was so mild, I brushed it off. Have been vaccinated for shingles, hepatitis, and as far as childhood vaccines, they weren't out yet so I got sick instead. My grandkids who had all never got sick.

@joncoopertweets I don’t agree that Pete being gay means he couldn‘t win the PresidenCy. Pete Buttigieg is a great communicator who appeals to a wide range of people, very similar to Obama. That “it” factor will outweigh his being gay, IMO.
