Unfortunate loss for FAU’s coaching staff, which has now lost both Fee and Todd Abernethy in the past two seasons.
Fee was a big part of FAU’s game-planning, especially in game. Could see him drawing up plays numerous times.

Lamar University has hired FAU assistant Jordan Fee, source told @TheFieldOf68. This is yet another terrific hire of one of the best assistants in the country. Rising star. Fee was previously assistant at Nova Southeastern under Jim Crutchfield and then was the head coach at Gannon - where he went 32-3 and went to the D-2 Elite Eight.

I would guess FAU’s season ends here.
Barring a mass decline from other teams, the NIT looks out of reach this year.
Injuries really put a damper on what started out as an intriguing season.
Owls need to get back to postseason play next season. We’ll see how Jakus re-tools.
